Steven Lewis
Steven, a pediatric nurse, gained his culinary skills from his father. “He loves to cook as a hobby and has passed that on to me,” he says. But even Steven’s greatest dishes can’t make his family forget the “eggs and microwave” incident of his younger years.
“I put some eggs on the microwave plate and started it,” he says. “I let them cook for a minute and then opened the door, and the eggs amazingly went all over me, the wall, ceiling, floor and, of course, the microwave. The tears that came from me are still talked about at every family gathering.”
