Luba Terech

As the foodservice director at a day care facility, Luba is responsible for feeding nearly 190 people each day. It’s a good thing a love of cooking runs in her family!

“My mother’s family were farmers in Eastern Europe, and my father’s family were ‘city folk’ who dabbled in producing wine,” she says. “These were the things that were always discussed and compared: food and wine. That must be why I get such comfort from it. For me, cooking is pleasure.”

Luba was a member of the June/July 2009 Member Taste Panel, where members test recipes from the magazine and give their feedback. To become a tester, click here.

COMMUNITY SPOTLIGHT

logo.jpgCooking Club Ambassadors
Many members remark that the Club feels like family. This is especially true on the Club forums, where members exchange recipes, help solve problems and really get to know one another. The Web Ambassadors—dedicated members who have volunteered to assist the Club—play a large role in making new people feel welcome to this family, whether it’s by greeting them when they first post, directing them to the proper forums or sharing their comments and concerns with CCA staff. They’re easy to find; just look for the special CCA Ambassador avatar under their names.
