Doesn't anyone ever get tired of these people trying to push things down your throat~? This is the worst site on the web and I am so sorry I ever joined~! It's like quicksand~!!

MickieX, Sorry but I don't know what you are talking about. I have been a member for about 6 years and I don't get a bunch of stuff jamed down my throat. Heck, I have ordered from some places that now send me mail every month trying to get me to buy something else. I'm not going to change your mind on the way you feel. It's just to bad that you waited to complain to make your way into the bulletin board. This place has so much to offer and we don't try to sell you anything. Maybe you could check out the bulletin board a little and find that you like it. mike

Gee...maybe I should feel left out since no one is pushing things down my throat trying to get me to buy, buy, buy? I receive no more mailings from CCOA trying to sell things than I do from anyone else...matter of fact I probably receive even less than some companies. Nonetheless, hope you feel better now that you've apparently joined and posted solely to complain. I would also suggest that you take the time to check out the boards and get to know the members and what the boards offer, but I have a feeling that wouldn't be of interest to you.

I have been a member for 4 years and have not recieved Any mail from them in several years except the magazines , they stopped sending me stuff to try and samples too . If they don't send something soon I'm going to cancel my membership !

Then the only thing I can think of is what you are checking on the form. I know they try to match up the products with the way people cook and what they cook.

I don't know what to tell you now. It's been a long long time since I have tested anything. It would be nice to test more and big ticket items but I also like comeing in here and being with friends and family.

what is MickieX complaining about? no one forces you to buy all you have to do is either "skip" or do not buy it is your choice. ALL you have to do is unsubscribe and every advertisement I have received there is a place to unsubscribe.
So get real and say NO OR DELETE THE ADVERTISEMENT.

nanapoo and everyone, call the 800 number to member services and ask them, I am in the same boat and contacted the club and they told me why. It would tak me to long to write what they told me here. Just thank how meny members there are and how few of the test products.

I rreallllly get tired of saying this, But the club is not about getting 'freebies' but receiving the best cooking magazine for a lots less than any other on the market. So some gets to test somethings but at the present time that is very slow. Look at the bright side and enjoy the mag and the forum. Do all of the other mags have a forum, Do they have a place to check out recipes from other readers? Do they have a place to meet people from all over the world, and in some cases become life-long friends? Do they have a place to buy items at a very good discount? And what is the membership now? Of course I have been a lifer for 10 years so I don't have to worry about yearly dues, uh do you get a deal like that from other mags?

I love the club. I dont reply much in these forums but otherwise am a very active life member. No other club offers so much. And no other club has such a wide variety of members and therefore variety of knowledge to share. I'm very thankful for all of you out there who have made my life more enjoyable. Thank You Lloyd and Thank You all you believers.
