Howdy Missy: I too would like to add my welcome to the club and forums. Like Lloyd and Mikey said we're a big family that love to cook share recipies and ideas and have fun. We're a very supportive group as well. Make sure to stop by "everything but cooking" where we talk about anything and everything. Make sure to read about the christmas ornament exchange. I think you would enjoy being a part of this fun thing that we do. Jerry

Hi Kitty, Thanks all for the nice welcome. I raise my own Poultry-chickens, heavy breed brown egg layers, and cornish x for my meat chickens, quail, turkeys. Rabbits- new zealands & Californians. Hogs, Beef. And when we deer hunt we process out own meat from them as well as the wild turkeys. I won't send my meat to a prossessing(butcher) plant. you rarely get YOUR meat back... it is hard work but worth every effort to sit down and eat a clean tasty meal!
