Q: Can you make panini sandwiches without a panini maker?
A: Absolutely! You can use a grillpan. Place foil on the sandwiches; then place a heavy pan or skillet on them so that they flatten as they cook. Or cook the sandwiches ina greased or nonstick waffle iron. Just be sure to weight down the lid.
