| The next time you need to peel a grapefruit or an orange, try a little heat. Place the whole fruit in a 350°F. oven for 15 to 20 minutes. When it's hot, the skin pulls away to remove the skin as well as the pith. The skin gets hot enough that you may need to use a potholder while you're peeling it. However, the flesh stays cool and can be used immediately. |
