Feed the need to say "I love you" with this whimisical centerpiece made of red and white carnations. For the O shape, use a florist's wreath form filled with foam. For the X shape, cut florist's foam to the desired size (you can piece the X together if necessary). Soak the foam in water. Trim the carnation stems to 1 inch; then insert them into the foam closely together, starting at the bottom of the sides and working your way to the top. To protect your table, wrap plastic around the bottom of the forms or place them on a tray.
