This was the perfect summertime dinner. With fresh tomato, garlic, and basil from my garden it was so fresh and light. I want to make this again and again!

I love to combine different recipes to enhance the already wonderful flavors and textures...I used the Tequila Agave Salmon recipe and topped it with the Avocado Salsa(which was originally included with the Grilled Lime Chicken Thighs). The Salmon was cut into small pieces and served as Hors D'oeuvres...It was served not only at a small event in which I was catering.I also served it for dinner while entertaining my friends and family. Everyone absolutely LOVED it!! This is an item I'll be adding to my menu when catering or entertaining I give the Tequila Agave Salmon and the Avocado Salsa two thumbs up!! Chia Freeman Marietta,Ga

But this ( Garden Gazpacho looks wonderful and I cannot wait to make it. I miss the fresh vegetables to make this. I plan this for tonight since I do have all ingredients. I made the Cheesy Bacon-Tomato Pie. It was very good. But there is a few things I would change. First off..1 cup of mayo is to much. I would go with 1/2 cup to 3/4 of a cup. Second, I can not stress ENOUGH that the tomatoes need to sit on paper towel and drain as long as possible. I used fresh tomatoes from our garden. I would even try to seed them honestly. To much juice gave my pie an extremely soggy, almost doughy bottom. But other them that, it was delicious!! THANKS FOR SHARING!

I am a new member and love my first magazine I just received! The first recipe I am going to try is the Cheesy Bacon-Tomato Pie. I even caught my husband looking thru the magazine and he picked the Memphis-Style Ribs to try soon! I love to cook so finding out about this cooking club is right up my alley. And I love to experiment on company--that is the best way to see if "you can make that again" or "it was good but you don't have to make it for a while". Ha!

rmckelvey Saturday August 14, 2010 I made the Zucchini-Feta Pie, I changed the feta cheese to a mexican cheese that I had and added spinich to the pie alon with the zucchini. I enoyed the pie so much I had it for dinner for a week. I have Intersticial Cycitis and not able to eat a lot of spices, and the zucchini pie was just right. I will make it again.

This was my first magazine and I made the Cheesy Bacon Tomato pie. I used heirloom tomatoes from my garden and I would definitely recommend seeding them!! Also, like the other reader said, it was a bit too much mayo. The pie was delicious, though. My family had a slice right out of the oven and I had another cold for lunch the next day. I would say it was actually better the next day and the mayo taste didn't overwhelm as it had when the pie was hot. Absolutely delicious, though!

I definitely will be trying the Eggplant and Zucchini Lasagna the next time I have family over. It's a bit to much for just one person or I would make it sooner. The Asian Steak Salad sounds pretty good to me too. I like to keep it simple where I don't have to prepare to many dishes for a meal.

Is this a coincidence? Last week my store had Pork Tenderloins on sale and, never having made one before, I bought it to try something different, and lo and behold, here is just the recipe I need because I love any kind of mushroom and have all the ingredients except the Artisan bread for which I will substitute another type of bread for added flavor. Thank you from a brand-new member! flyinghigh1@optonline.net

If my copy of the August/September issue ever arrives - I might be able to try some of the recipes. A replacement issue was requested September 2 - was told to wait 2-3 three weeks - nothing ever arrived. Supposedly another issued is on it's way - we'll see.
