cover two looks more like a cookout,summer issue then cover one

Both covers were a little dull to me. A simple splash of color (green, maybe?) would make the magazine pop and get attention.

We eat first with the eyes. I liked cover two better, just looked more appealing to me and made me look forward to the summer.

Difficult choice, but burger/BBQ ideas are easier to come by, I think, than ideas for all the wonderful fruits available in summer. Both covers are attractive and summery-looking.

Cover 2 because there are a lot of folks OUT HERE that need to cut back portions for one reason or another...mostly for health! Cover 2 doesn't make you feel as guilty for "smaller portions"...LOVE IT!

i liked cover one best, i love new ideas and like tring new foods the bbq just doesn't really catch my eye as a cool new idea to try, everyone likes bbq, for mw doesnt seem to have wow effect it has a simple effect that is just me.

Both the covers look ok. Something is lacking though...hmmm, summer theme? Ok, how about some water (maybe a shot in the background of a couple of children running through the sprinkler system. In the foreground...the food, mmmmm BBQ yummies. Oh sorry, just thinking out loud. I choose cover #2, but both are lacking as far as eye appeal goes.

Cover 2 looks just a little bit nicer than Cover 1 thought both of them seem blase. Needs more color or something. Just too tan!

Cover #1 would be great under a RED WHITE & BLUE tablecover. Always looking for recipes using seasonal fruits.

I think that both covers are nice. I choose cover two because of the hint of orange and the wine bottle in the back....the sunlight and smidget of green beside the wine bottle is nice as well. I wanted to choose cover 1 because I like the way it sits in the shade a little...cover 2 says "it's summertime' let's cook".

I like cover 1 better because I find that many other cooking magazines have sliders as there covers also. I am sick of this slider phase personally. Its a small sandwich... i get it...

I like cover 1 because summer is about fresh fruit and farmer's markets, however it could use more color!

Both are good choices. However; I live in the deep south where BBQ's are a year round event. Fruit is in season during the summer months, so I chose the fruit cover page.

Cover two is best, but it needs a punch of color with a summery tablecloth under the plate of sliders. Also, a grill would say "summer" much more than a partial bottle of wine.

I'm a bit tired of the whole slider deal - everybody has about done that to pieces. I need ideas for fruit, which to me is what summer is about. Plus, those rustic tarts are a lot easier to make than pies, right? But put the tart on a colorful tablecloth or something!

I like cover one because Summer is when we need to use fresh fruits and etc. More color to the cover would help.

Cover #1. Summer is for wonderful fresh fruit desserts. Sliders are boring and are on every other magazine cover. Needs some flowers and a bright tablecloth.
