Fast onion wedges

To cut perfect-size onion wedges for kebabs, use an apple wedger.
Be sure to slice off the root end of the onion first to create a flat and stable bottom.

I love this idea. I have fibromyalgia and slicing, chopping and dicing onion just kills my hands and arms. I will use this technique often.

I agree with irislady. I too have fibro and anything to make things easier and literally less painful in the kitchen is awesome! My husband brought me home an apple wedger last week because I was doing a ton of canning but cutting everything by hand. This worked great on all the pears I needed to slice!
