This recipe, which unites cinnamon rolls and bacon, earned Sherry O’Dell of Montrose, Colorado, a runner-up spot in the 2010 Rhodes' Family Favorites Recipe Contest.
6 frozen Rhodes Cinnamon Rolls, thawed but still cold
12 slices thick-cut bacon, cooked
1/4 teaspoon coarse salt, if desired
Pure maple syrup
1. Lightly spray baking sheet with cooking spray. Unroll each cinnamon roll; cut in half lengthwise. Wrap each half, cinnamon-side up, in a spiral around each piece of bacon; place on baking sheet. Lightly sprinkle with salt. Cover with plastic wrap sprayed with cooking spray; let stand in warm place 30 to 45 minutes or until doubled in size.
2. Heat oven to 375°F. Bake 15 minutes or until golden brown. Immediately drizzle with syrup.
