Hey everyone, I've only been a member a few months, and I just signed up for Life Membership. I have two young boys (4 & 2), and I try to bake cookies with them often. I'm pretty new to cooking and baking but I hope to improve my skills, especially gaining tips and tricks from places like this!

Melly,

I would like to welcome you to the cooking club and the bulletin board. Your family just grew a tad bit because in here we are one big extended family. Welcome to our family. If you have a question just ask and some one will come alone and try to answer it for you. Other than that just come back often and jump right in.

Cookies - yummy! Hi Melly. Welcome to the club and the forum. Have a look around and you will probably find some recipes you like in Recipe Swap. In Everything But Cooking we get together and kid around and let each other know how things are going with us. If you have any questions there are probably answers somewhere with someone. Most of all have fun.

Hello, y'all. I am a new member from little 'ol Pipe Creek, Texas, near San Antonio. My husband and I are full time RV'ers, have been for the past 11 years and we think we are going to use Pipe Creek as home base. We are both retired, love to travel, love to cook together and just got back from Carlsbad Caverns, the Grand Canyon and Slt Lake City!!! It's wonderful to be able to see this beautiful country whenever we want. I have a couple of old receipes that I will submit, y'all have probably heard of 'em before but they're keepers. I just joined in May, 2010, so I'm still gettin' my boots planted here. Y'all will hear more from me, eventually, but I'm just gettin' used to all the places a person can go in these forums. So will talk to y'all later.

Hello Kenne. Another Texan! You just gotta love Texans! Welcome to the club and the forums. Have a look around, take it all in and then join in. The Recipe Swap has some great things to try out and in Everything But Cooking we all get together and get to know one another. Any questions about cooking that need answering we have a lot of people who know what they are talking about. Again, welcome Kenne.
