"The handle fits nicely in your hand. It’s simple to use and keep clean. It’s made of quality materials. It slices and dices like a dream. It’s easy to clean and very versatile. It has a nicely shaped blade to rock through while cutting vegetables and other items." |

"It’s easy to use. I can chop some things up using a rolling motion, without having to lift the Ulu from the cutting board. The handle fits very comfortably in my hand." |

"The Grohmann Ulu is a wonderful tool to use. I have arthritis, and holding a knife isn’t easy, but holding the Ulu made chopping veggies a lot easier. Using it in a rounded bowl helps chop foods more rapidly." |

"The versatility was great. I used it for so many different things. I never had to think about what type of knife to use; it works on everything. The sharp rounded blade along with the thick handle give you good stability. The smooth back-and-forth motion allows you to slice, dice, chop and cut with ease." |

"It’s a beautiful knife. I’ve never used or even seen one like this. It’s very sharp and cuts beautifully. It chopped up an onion in no time flat. I love the rolling of the blade. The wood on it is beautiful. It will definitely be on my counter for all to see as I’m sure not many of my friends or relatives have ever seen a knife like this." |

"The Grohmann Ulu does an excellent job when mincing, chopping and slicing smaller lengths. One of the ways I used the knife was to skin, debone and slice chicken; it performed well for all three jobs. When mincing garlic, the design of the blade allows for faster and more accurate action. I also skinned a salmon with the knife and found the blade sharp, easy to control and the perfect shape for separating the skin. The best feature is the design of the blade and handle, which work together to produce a versatile kitchen tool that can be used for different types of food preparation." |

"I’m totally in love with my Ulu. The best feature is the way one grips the handle. My hands are slightly arthritic, and the shape makes it very easy to use." |

I appreciate the reviews on this knife. I have seen knives like this in the past, but have never purchased one because of...well, the shape of the blade. I was sure it would cut, but I like a versatile knife. These reviews have made me more confident about buying one of these different shaped knives. Thank you.

This knife is truely a wonder I have 2 ulu knifes from Alaska. We use them to cut up deer meat they go right thru the bone. Best knife a hunter can have. I keep mine with my Bone China. I have 2sizes large and small set in whale bone.

My husband was given an ulu knife years ago, and I don't think it's ever been used. It's beautiful on the counter, though! Now that I've read these reviews I might have to start using it!
