Denise Armentrout
Denise admits she has diverse tastes in both food and music. “I’ll eat and listen to almost anything you put in front of me!” she says.
This project manager is also known for the diversity within her delicious lasagna. She explains, “I’ve taken some non-traditional lasagna ingredients and incorporated them into my own personal recipe.”

Cindi Hanshew
If she’s not making dinner rolls, tossing taco salad or baking a birthday carrot cake, Cindi might be sitting enthralled with the latest computer manual.
“I love learning new things about them,” she says, and her home-based technical support job sounds like a good fit. If she could have any profession, however, Cindi would choose psychiatry. Her explanation is simple: “I want to help people.” |

Carol Shannon
Ask this IT system administrator what dish she’s most famous for, and she won’t hesitate about the answer. “That would have to be my cream-filled clothespin cookies that I make at Christmastime,” she says.
It’s not hard for Carol to name her most memorable vacation, either. It was Disney’s California Food & Wine Festival with her daughter. “I loved being able to attend the mini demonstrations and sample the food and wine.” |

Catherine Stoupa
After 39 years as a government employee, Catherine recently retired. “It’s nice now that I am retired,” she says, “because I can spend more time on recipes and am not rushed to prepare a nice meal.”
If you ask Catherine about her accomplishments, however, she doesn’t mention her long career or culinary feats. “I feel my biggest accomplishment has been raising three very mature and successful children,” she says. |
